GYM REOPENS JUNE 13th
We have been working extremely hard behind the scenes to ensure that the gym is ready to reopen from June 13th. Your safety and well-being is paramount to us and we have introduced new measures so that we comply with current Government restrictions in light of COVID-19.
We have some exciting changes including additional classes, the introduction of regular outdoor classes and a new fitness boot camp regime to be introduced in the coming weeks.
We are so very grateful for your loyalty and understanding as we adjust to a new way of operating and look forward to seeing you all back at the gym soon.
FAQS & new operating regulations:
When is the gym going to be open?
Saturday 13th of June.
Is the timetable the same?
We have made some adjustments regarding times of classes, to accommodate adding more classes to the schedule. The timetable will be updated in accordance with the restrictions that have been enforced by the NSW government.
Where can I find the updated timetable?
You will find the timetable on our website and on our Facebook page: Gairy StClair boxing fitness. Please note that the current timetable is a temporary schedule in light of the COVID-19 restrictions and is subject to change.
Do we have a booking system?
Our booking system is in place and currently available through our Facebook page (only). You will now be required to book your spot through our Facebook page for any classes you wish to attend. Please note as we have a maximum limit of 5 people per class it is imperative that you book to attend a class, using our booking platform via our facebook page. If you do not have a booking, members with a booking will take priority so please book your classes accordingly.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all adjust to these regulations and new way of operating.
What if I don't have Facebook?
This is currently our only booking platform. To keep updated with news from the gym, notifications and bookings we strongly advise that our members create a Facebook profile. Alternatively, please contact Gairy.
How many people will be allowed per class?
Due to the restrictions we are only permitted 5 people per class (not including the trainer).
Am I still required to sign in?
Yes, anyone that comes into the gym must sign in and provide a contact number or email.
Can I use the gyms gloves?
To ensure your safety we will no longer be providing gloves for members use and you will be required to bring your own gloves and a towel to every session.
Will we be able to use the water machine?
The water tank facility is still available for use, however plastic cups will no longer be provided at this time, so please bring a water bottle to your training session.
Hygiene & Sanitisation
Equipment and high traffic areas will be sanitised after each session, however we ask for your assistance in wiping down any equipment that you use. There will be sanitisers and alcohol wipes provided throughout the gym, for your safety.
Socialising after class
During the restrictions we are required to uphold at this time we ask that once you have finished the class, you exit as soon as you can, to allow for sanitisation of the training area and equipment between classes.
What if I'm feeling sick?
For the safety of other members and staff we ask that if you are displaying any Coronavirus symptoms, or if you have been in contact with someone who has recently returned from overseas that you please refrain from training and if you have an existing booking, please cancel your session and stay home.
