GAIRY ST CLAIR SUPERHERO FIGHT NIGHT

Gairy’s inaugural Superhero Fight Night amateur boxing promotion was first staged in 2014, instantly becoming a highly successful event, leading to three events staged every year since.

Superhero Fight Nights are held at various licensed social clubs around Sydney and offer fans and supporters ringside VIP dinner and drinks table seating, in addition to general admission tickets.

Superhero Fight Nights are open to all boxers, male and female, 14 years and over, in which every effort is made to ensure that all bouts are evenly contested.

Bouts are matched according to weight class and experience, catering for the complete novice having their first bout to the experienced amateur boxer.

To ensure the safety of all boxers, Superhero Fight Night bouts are supervised and officiated by League Boxing Inc (NSW), with all boxers required to wear regulation gloves and head protection in addition to being given a mandatory medical check by the supervising doctor for each bout.

Traditionally the first fight night of the year is dedicated to Harper Wright, niece of (the founders of GSBF) Gairy and Alishar.

NSW covid restrictions and the mid year lockdown meant Ryan Oostendorp and the GSBF Management team hosted one event for the year, Harpers Superhero Fight Night XVIII on Friday 4th June 2021.

In a joint initiative with the Navarra Care Foundation, $20 per ticket sale was donated to the Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick; totaling $7,200 in donations.

We are dearly grateful to all the sponsors, fighters and support from all who attended the fight night and look forward to our next scheduled event for early 2022.
